A pitcher of sangria with apples and pears on a wood table surrounded by harvest fruits, sunflowers, and twinkle lights

White Apple Sangria

A light and sweet white apple sangria is the perfect drink to enjoy on a golden fall afternoon. Full of sweet apples and pears and a hint of spice, this fall sangria perfectly bridges the gap between summer cocktails and winter drinks.

Ingredients

  • 2 pears sliced about 1 cup
  • 2 apples sliced about 1 cup
  • 2 Tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1 cup white rum
  • 1 bottle Moscato wine 750 mL
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • splash of Sprite in each glass when served

Instructions

  • Slice up the apples and pears
  • Toss apple and pear slices in lemon juice to prevent browning. Add Moscato or another white wine, apple cider, white rum, and cinnamon stick to pitcher and stir ingredients together. Let it sit for at least an hour.
  • Pour into wine glasses and leave a little bit of room at the top. Then pour a small amount of Sprite into each glass to give it a bit of fizziness. Enjoy!

Notes

Minimum wait time is 1 hour, but I find it is best to leave it sit for longer periods of time, such as overnight.
If you don't have Moscato wine, you can try another sweet, white wine of your choice.
