Crock Pot Apple Pie Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 5 Golden Delicious Apples
  • 1.5 cups of rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup of milk
  • 3/4 cup of apple cider
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tbs apple butter
  • 1 tbs cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp nutmeg

Instructions

  • Spray the slow cooker with cooking spray.
  • Chop apples and add them to the slow cooker along with oats, spices, milk, and cider. Stir to combine.
  • Cook on low for 4-6 hours, cooking occasionally.
  • Serve warm and garnish with walnuts and an extra drizzle of maple syrup if desired.

Notes

*Use gluten free oats to keep it gluten free.
** Feel free to substitute another apple. I like granny smiths in this as well,
*** If you want to make it vegan, use almond milk.
