Ingredients
1cupof sugar
1cupof water
1cupof raspberries
Instructions
Whisk the sugar and water together in a small saucepan over medium heat.
Keep whisking and cooking until the sugar dissolves.
Add the raspberries and bring the mixture to a simmer.
Let the mixture simmer, stirring with a sturdy wooden spoon to help break up the raspberries, until the raspberries are all broken apart.
Remove from the heat.
Strain the raspberry syrup over a mesh strainer set over a jar or container. Press the spoon against the raspberry pulp to release as much of the liquid as possible.
Seal the jar or container and refrigerate.
Use in your favorite drinks or baked goods. Enjoy!
Notes
Add a teaspoon of vanilla extract for extra flavor.
