Roasted Spiced Butternut Squash (Savory Butternut Squash Recipe)

Ingredients for Spiced Butternut Squash

Butternut Squash Olive oil Honey Spices– Salt, pepper, garlic powder, chili powder, and cumin

Prep the butternut squash.

Peel the tough skin off of the squash. Cut in half legnthwise. Scoop out the seed.

Cut the butternut squash into piece.

You want the squash pieces to be bite sized and more or less the same size so it cooks evenly.

Spice up the butternut squash.

Toss the butternut squash with olive oil before sprinkling on the spices and tossing again.

Roast the spiced butternut squash.

Spread the squash out on a sheet pan lined with foil and sprayed with nonstick spray. Bake at 425.

Flip the butternut squash.

Halfway through the cooking time, flip the butternut squash so it cooks and caramelizes evenly.
