Aside from the ingredients, you'll want icing bottles, a unicorn cookie cutter, food safe markers, and sprinkles.

Prepare the cookie dough.

Mix the flour into the store bought dough. Then roll the dough so it's 1/4" thick. Cut the dough into unicorn faces and bake until golden.

Make the royal icing.

While the cookies are cooling completely, make the icing by beating together the sugar, water, and meringue until it slowly drizzles from the beater when it's lifted. Make a variety of colors and add each color to a separate piping bottle.

Pipe on the unicorn's snout.

Start decorating the unicorn cookie by outline the snout with pink royal icing and then flooding the outline.

Pipe on the unicorn's horn.

Use your yellow or gold icing to flood the horn. Once the horn is flood and set slightly, outline the unicorn's face in white.

Flood the unicorn cookie with white.

Fill the face in with the white icing. Use a toothpick to smooth it out or pop any bubbles.

Pipe on the ear details.

Use the same pink icing to pipe the ear detail directly onto the wet white icing. Let the icing set.

Pipe on the unicorn's hair.

Use a variety of colors to make the unicorn's hair. Use a toothpick to smooth out the royal icing as needed.

Add the finishing details to the unicorn cookie.

Let the royal icing dry completely. Then use the food marker to draw on eyes. Finish the cookies by piping on pink nostrils.

Enjoy!
