The Best Sweet Potato Pumpkin Soup

Ingredients for Pumpkin Sweet Potato Soup

Sweet Potatoes pumpkin onions spices vegetable broth olive oil cream

Saute the sweet potatoes, onions and spice.

Heat oil in the Instant Pot on saute mode. Add the cut sweet potatoes, onions, and saute until the onions start to soften.

Pressure cook.

Add the vegetable broth to the pot. Secure the lid and pressure cook. For stovetop directions see post.

Quick release.

When the Pot beeps, do a quick release and open the lid.

Stir in the pumpkin and cream.

Stir the pumpkin puree and heavy cream into the pot.

Puree the soup.

Use an immersion blender or food processor or blender and puree until creamy.

Serve the sweet potato pumpkin soup

Garnish with pumpkin seeds, fresh sage, and more cream.
